We were there on Monday evening to pick up the keys. The Vorbestitzer have emigrated during the day and have the keys left in the garage and hid the key in the garage kennel in the hay.
Sounds pretty exciting so far right?
Well, my memories of that night are these: the house was dark, cold and dead . No heating and no hot water. It is still around a lot, many things are simply left. We knew that there is much to do, but on Monday we have seen everything once aggregated. Empty rooms with water stains for example, or basin with no outlet and only with buckets underneath. Is beyond me how the previous owners have over the past few months, "lived". Of living I like talking at all.
I have a few days now, used to collect me. The sight is the key to me in tears this time, driven into the eyes but Andy is still thankfully very quiet and strong and gave me support.
